CutWise Pro, for coaches

Switching from Trainerize? Here’s the honest picture.

Trainerize does a great deal, for gyms as well as PTs. Its AI is an add-on, though: check-in drafts and meal photo analysis cost $6–10 per client a month. In CutWise Pro, AI comes with every plan.

What’s different

What CutWise Pro does instead.

Built and working now. Where Trainerize does something similar, we say so.

Food logged in seconds

Clients log by photo, voice, text or barcode in CutWise, a calorie tracker people also choose to use on their own.

Trainerize today

A food database and barcode, a photo journal without AI, or MyFitnessPal and Fitbit sync. AI photo analysis needs FitMetrics.

Every meal, as it happens

You see each meal and its photo with the time it was logged, and you can like it or comment on it.

Check-ins arrive ready

Numbers filled in from their logs, an AI summary of the week and a drafted reply, for you to edit and send.

Trainerize today

AI check-in drafts come with FitMetrics, at $6–10 per client a month.

Metis, typed or by voice

Ask about any client or your whole roster. Metis drafts replies, nudges and programmes, and nothing reaches a client until you say send.

Trainerize today

An AI workout builder, in open beta.

AI included, never per client

Client logging, check-in summaries and Metis come with every plan. Voice minutes are included too, with top-up packs if you need more.

Trainerize today

FitMetrics is $6 per client a month, or $10 on its Scale plan.

Their app, included

While you coach them, every client gets the full CutWise app as part of your plan. If they leave, they can keep using it on their own subscription.

Where they’re ahead

Where Trainerize is ahead.

Trainerize says it’s used by over 400,000 trainers and coaches, and it covers a lot of ground. It has these, and CutWise Pro doesn’t:

  • A meal planner and recipes

Its Advanced Nutrition add-on. CutWise has targets and simple planned meals instead.

Moving over

How moving works.

CutWise Pro doesn’t import from Trainerize, so nothing comes across on its own. Here’s what moving looks like.

1

Invite your clients

Send them your invite link, or show your QR code. They join in the CutWise app and choose what you see: food, weight, steps, workouts, water, measurements and progress photos.

2

Start from that day

Their history with you starts the day they join. From then on, everything they share lands in your dashboard as it’s logged.

3

Rebuild your programmes

Recreate them in the programme builder. The wizard or Metis can draft one for you to adjust.

Founding coaches

60 days free. Then your price, locked.

For early-access coaches, and coaches who request early access and start within 30 days of CutWise Pro opening to everyone, while founding places last. Coach up to 10 clients free for 60 days, with no card until the trial ends. Then your plan stays at the founding price for as long as you’re with us, and it comes with you when you move up a plan.
